Argan Oil

The argan tree grows almost nowhere else on earth. Its forest, the arganeraie, has been a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1998, and the kernels inside its fruit have been cracked and pressed by hand — largely by women, largely in cooperatives — for as long as anyone has kept count.
